Brangus are
3/8 Brahman and 5/8 Angus. The black, polled breed was developed in the
1930's - 40's. Brahman influence contributes natural parasite resistance,
good mothering, long productive lives and increased weaning weights. The
vigorous, naturally-hornless Angus is also known for exceptional maternal
attributes and carcass quality. Brangus cattle thrive in a variety of
environments and conditions. Because of their superb mothering traits,
the cows command high prices in the marketplace.

"While
our cattle program is pretty good sized by most people's standards, the
quality of what we've managed to genetically engineer is one of our greatest
accomplishments"
